WE ARE MOVING!!

Hello everyone,

I have been deliberating recently over whether or not to move my blog post to another platform.

Unfortunately, every time I write anything here I am inundated with spam messages that take me an age to delete!

Facebook and Insta are not conducive to the type of writing I would like to do in the coming year, so I’ve decided to take the plunge and use Substack instead. I will move the entire mailing list to the new platform in a few days. If you do not want to come with me, please let me know you want to opt out before Friday 2nd February.

You will receive an email notification when I post, just as you do with this blog. Very little change really. The newsletter is free and you can read it easily using the Substack App. The main benefit is the vast array of other exciting image writers using it including Lyn Slater’s ‘How to Be Old’ and my colleague, Julie Cobbe’s ‘Notes on Styling’. It’s a fabulous platform and more welcoming than other forms of social media – in my view at least.

My newsletter will be entitled ‘Here’s the Thing’. It will not be about styling per se, more musings on clothing and my observations about it – past, present and future. It provides me with an opportunity to use my new found knowledge of fashion and art history and intertwine it with what I love – fashion and image.

Thank you so much for your support thus far. It has meant a lot to me over the years, and I hope we can continue our journey together once I start to post.
